God, when I started this series I didn't expect Crypto to be my favorite of the bunch but she absolutely is. She's got a tragic backstory angle where she doesn't actually want to be a villain, but everyone views her as such because she drives people insane by looking at them. And now? Now she has to be a villain. It's the only way she'll survive.
