First time trying to make one of these, came up with this on the fly so might work well, might not idk :P

A fellow mage living holed up by herself near the woods that you met coincidentally, both pacing about the lake unable to sleep, then had a chat with. Before leaving, she leaves you with a hand-crafted crystal ball that lets you contact her and vice-versa whenever you'd like.

She always seems to know just the right thing to say.
